Sabrina and Scott wed in Toronto, Ontario on November 24th at the St. Leo’s Catholic Church and the reception took place at the Venetian Banquet Hall. I knew when I photographed Sabrina and Scott’s engagement shoot in 2016 that their wedding was going to be an epic experience. It was the perfect wedding to end of my 2018 wedding season. The entire wedding crew and both families were so genuinely sweet and amazing to work with. The energy the wedding party had was out of this world and kept the bride and groom smiling and giggling during the windy, rainy bridal party photos. The DJ service was also off the charts and a huge shout out goes to Digital Xent for the excellent service they provided. I absolutely adore Sabrina and Scott and I wish them all the best.

It’s hard to pinpoint the exact moment as we’ve been together for almost 15 years, so we think it was a build up of things that led us to know we were meant to be. We were always there for each other – through family trauma, tedious projects, and hard job interviews. We always had the other person’s well-being in mind. Humour/positive spin on life became our saving grace. No matter where life took us, whether it was university, college, working out of town, or travel – we always supported each other’s life choices.
Sabrina – I had an inkling it was going to be that night. Scott planned a nice dinner and found a new spot to walk (we LOVE going for walks together) and during dessert, it started to pour! I suggested we reschedule our walk and Scott insisted that we go home to get our rain gear and go for a walk anyway! He was never that excited about going for a walk in the rain.
Scott – We’ve been together for a long time so we were always talking about it. We went ring shopping together, we discussed the type of ring Sabrina wanted, how long our engagement will be, etc. so she knew it was coming. I got the ring and realized Sabrina’s birthday was only a few weeks away so I decided to save it for her birthday. It was exciting – I wasn’t nervous; we were ready.
Sabrina – his smile; no matter what kind of day I’m having he always makes me laugh, even when I don’t want to.
Scott – her sparkle in her eye; her patience; and she loves to cook for me. Her homemade meals never disappoint!
Scott – Sabrina LOVES to nap; and she always wants to cuddle, even when I don’t want to!
Sabrina – he associates me to animals; if I nap, I’m a house cat. If I eat too fast, I’m a duck.
We’re looking forward to celebrating this new chapter of our lives with all of our friends and family. Scott – can’t wait to see Sabrina in her wedding dress.
We just tried to keep everything simple and elegant! It was important to us to include pictures and family traditions so we tried to incorporate that as much as we could.
