Brian and Sam’s engagement session at Sam Lawrence Park in Hamilton, Ontario.
Hamilton, Ontario offers so many gorgeous lookout points and unique locations that are perfect for engagement photography. Sam and Brian just moved to “The Hammer” from Toronto and were super excited to have their engagement photos taken at Sam Lawrence Park overlooking the city of Hamilton, Ontario.
It was a brisk day for photos but Sam and Brian’s excellent wardrobe choice of black leather jackets were not only particular for the weather conditions but also very fashionable. They truly did look like movie stars! The neutral colours of their attire contrasted nicely against the greenery of the park and the bright and vibrant blue sky.
Brian and Sam met on a blind date in Toronto in March of 2016. They went out to dinner the Annex, followed by a night out dancing in Kensington Market. They chose Hamilton for their engagement session because they had just bought their first home in Hamilton and they thought it would be appropriate to have a memorable shoot in the city where they will be ‘starting our life together’. Sam Lawrence is an excellent location choice for their engagement shoot as it does have a excellent view of the city as well as great diversity with the scenery of the park itself.
Brian and Sam won an engagement photography contest earlier this year and opted for the spring to do the engagement session. Despite the cold and windy conditions of the day, Brian and Sam were full of smiles and giggles the whole shoot! When I photographed their engagement shoot, I knew right away that their wedding was going to be amazing as well. I am so honoured that they chose McCormick Photography as their wedding photographer for their big day. Sam and Brian are getting married August 24th, 2019 at Liuna Station in Hamilton, Ontario. Can’t wait for their wedding day!
