Elora engagement photography with the lovely Tracey and Cameron.
Tracey and Cameron had their engagement session at the Elora Gorge and downtown Elora. The couple got engaged at Algonquin Highlands so they wanted to keep their engagement shoot in the same theme of nature. We lucked in with such a beautiful day. We started the shoot off with some shots at Victoria Park with their adorable golden retriever dog named Sawyer. Sawyer had a cute little sign around his neck that said: “My humans are getting married.” We made the steep walk down to the gorge to get some captures on the rocks right in the river. Tracey and Cameron were such an adventurous couple and had no problem trekking through the water and jumping the rocks to get in the best position for the perfect shot.
For the second portion of the shoot, we walked into the downtown area of Elora and got some shots around the quaint little town. Elora is a very popular place for photo shoots for obvious reasons! It is well known for its 19th-century limestone architecture and the geographically significant Elora Gorge. Tracey and Cameron were full of jokes and had me laughing the whole shoot. Cameron was even cracking jokes with other people walking around town. He had everyone laughing and having a good time. I had such a great time photographing them (and their pup, Sawyer) and learning more about this awesome couple.
Tracey and Cameron met in high school but didn’t start dating there. They reconnected through a chance meeting 5 years after high school when they ran into each other at a restaurant and started dating a year after that. They got engaged in 2018. I am so excited that Tracey and Cameron have enlargements that they can now hang on the wall. I wish this wicked couple all the best!
