Same Day Edits | Katie & Matt’s Wedding at Elora Mill

The gorgeous new venue, Elora Mill is newly open and I had the privilege to photograph the adorable couple of Katie and Matthew on Friday, July 13th. It was such a beautiful day from start to finish. The little town of Elora was the perfect backdrop for Katie and Matthew’s wedding photography. We photographed the bridal party at Victoria Park and Lover’s Leap overlooking the Elora Gorge. Once we got back to the Elora Mill, we captured some shots of just Katie and Matthew outside the beautiful venue against the stone wall. The entire wedding party was a blast to work with and they were kept Katie and Matthew laughing and smiling the whole day. You could really feel the love between the whole wedding crew.

With a joyful wedding party and a gorgeous blue sky, we captured stunning imagery for the couple to view during the Day of Event Slideshow. One thing our clients love about McCormick Photography is being able to relive the wedding day during the reception by watching a slideshow of some edited images from earlier that day. Parents and guests particularly love the slideshow because it allows them to experience parts of the day they weren’t able to see the same day as the actual wedding.

Elora Mill is perched over the Grand River in the heart of Elora, that offers an authentic local experience and a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography. Not only is it completely stunning but the staff is amazingly helpful which adds to the overall experience.

I photographed Katie and Matthew’s engagement session back in January on a freezing cold day at the Guelph Arboretum and Riverrun Centre. Now, Katie and Matthew have a nice diversity of their imagery with warm summer wedding photography to contrast the white wonderland engagement shoot! I wish Katie and Matthew all the best on this next chapter of their lives.
