Victoria Park in Kitchener, Ontario was the setting for Emma and Nat’s wedding on Sunday, September 2nd. We couldn’t have asked for more of a beautiful day with a crisp blue sky and gorgeous weather. The gorgeous couple wed outside of the pavilion on the park grounds under the willow trees. Victoria Park is such an amazing venue for a wedding as it has the perfect backdrop for photos and an adorable pavilion for the reception and evening festivities. It truly does have a mix of timeless beauty and modern features that make for the perfect wedding venue.
I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Nat’s engagement photo shoot August of last year at Webster’s Falls in Hamilton, Ontario. I knew right then that we would capture gorgeous wedding imagery together as we hit it off swimmingly. Emma and Nat are two of the most genuine and kind people I know and I couldn’t have more pleased when they decided to book with McCormick Photography for their big day. The sincere love they had for each other shined through in their engagement photos and I am so happy that they loved their photos so much that they got enlargements to proudly display in their home.
The wedding party of Emma and Nat were such troopers through the heat of the day and amazing to work with! As myself and my team were capturing the bridal party images, I was getting very giddy just thinking about displaying the images for the day of event slideshow later in the day as I knew we were capturing some awesome shots for the bride and groom. Emma and Nat, along with all the guests, loved seeing some sam-day-edits from that earlier in the day and I cannot wait for the newlyweds to see the finished product in a couple of weeks.
