Alana & Kristen’s Bridal Shoot | Cambridge, Ontario
Alana and Kristen had their winter bridal photography shoot in Cambridge, Ontario.
Cambridge, Ontario was the backdrop of Alana and Kristen’s bridal photography session on Sunday, March 3rd. It was a bitterly cold day but man, those ladies were troopers! Not only where they just wearing flats with their ankles deep in the snow but they were sleeveless in their beautiful wedding dresses for over an hour of shooting. They were cracking jokes the entire shoot and they definitely had me laughing the whole time. You would have never known they were cold!
The first portion of the shoot was at the Gore Mutual Insurance building located on 252 Dundas St, Cambridge which was great for some dynamic architectural shoots. To give us some diversity in the images, we went to Soper Park across the street for some nature shots. These locations are close to home for Alana and Kristen so it was a perfect location pick!
Alana and Kristen met in 2013 in Nursing school while doing clinical. They got married on Friday, February 15th on this year at the Best Western in Brantford. It was a very small, intimate wedding. They still wanted to capture some high-impact, timeless wedding images of them in their wedding dresses so that’s why they opted to do a bridal session with McCormick Photography. They really wanted a winter themed photoshoot so they wasted no time getting them done after they said their “I Do’s”! Now, they have an assortment of enlargements and gift prints that they can hang on their wall and give out to their family and friends.
Alana and Kristen’s dresses are from David’s Bridal and their makeup was done by Krystal Bayliss. You can check out Krystal’s Instagram account, beautybybayliss. I can’t express how much fun I had photographing these ladies and now, I can say that I have made some new friends as well!! I am excited to see where their journey takes them. All the best to this amazing couple.
